He was predeceased by: his father John Gallagher; and his sister Lori. He is survived by: his mother Barb Gallagher (Adair); his close friend Heidi Ahlstrand; and his siblings, Curtis Gallagher (Tricia), Joel Gallagher, Jeff Gallagher, Doug Gallagher and Lynn Maxson (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
