He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stoltz and Laura Stoltz (Kruesel); and his siblings, Paul Stoltz, Gloria Schuler, Glen Stoltz, Jean Weber and Eldon Stoltz.

He is survived by: his spouse LouEllen; his daughters, Kate Joenks (Drew) of Owatonna and Betsy Stoltz of Owatonna; his friend LouEllen Stoltz (Shirley) of Owatonna; and his sister Wilma Haberman of Hope.
