He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Stefan and Myrtle Stefan; and his siblings, Esther Jacobson, Joyce Ells and Lawrence Stefan.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Scott Stefan (Peggy), Tim Stefan (Amy), Keri Beyer (John) and Kelli Kaufer (Paul); his grandchildren, Tyler, Carey, Henry, Cole, Otto and Jordyn; his great grandchildren, Walker and Lyla; and his siblings, Milo, Don, Dennis Stefan and Pat Trask.
