He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Newborg and Alice Newborg (Kalling); his brother Charles Newborg; and his father-in-law Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gunkel; his children, Hiedi Lien (Dennis) of Fergus Falls, Jennifer Newborg (Justin Wagner) of Ottertail and Joseph Newborg of New York Mills; his grandchildren, Dustin, Ashley, Presten and Jaida; his great grandchildren, Carter, Hadlie, Aubree, Isaiah and Greyson; and his siblings, Reuben Newborg (Polly) of Baldwin, WI and Gay Borgen (Bob). He is also survived by many other relatives and a host of friends.
