It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Hodson of Ostrander, Minnesota, born in Forest City, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nile Hodson and Esther Hodson (Hanna); his siblings, Maxine Schwabauer, Doris Butts and Phillip Hodson; his parents-in-law, Audrey and Eugene Launt; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Schwabauer, James Butts, James Capelle, Donald Thompson and Barb Capelle.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Capelle; his children, Kimberly Schraeder (John) of Ostrander, Sue Larson (Rex) of Lime Springs, IA and Kevin Hodson (Mary) of Hutchinson, MN; his grandchildren, Eric Schraeder (Tiffany Lewison) of LeRoy, MN, Amber Larson of Lime Springs, IA, Brittany Mihm (Jeremy) of LeRoy, MN, Jessica Larson of Lime Springs, IA, Kelsey Henry (Ryan) of Cresco, IA, Jason Hodson (Allie) of Burnsville, MN and Jeffrey Hodson of Hutchinson, MN; his great grandchildren, Colin Larson, Trynnity Frana, Jarrett Larson, Malia, Zoey, Stella Henry, Dylan Schraeder, Shelby and Kinzey Mihm; his sister Marian Thompson of St. Paul, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Capelle of Rochester, MN and Donna Capelle of Waterloo, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to COVID-19, family decided on a private service, with no visitation, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ostrander with Pastor Herman Bakker officiating.
