He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray and Shirley; his siblings, Mary and Terry; his father-in-law Robert Sikes; and his son-in-law Matt Nixon.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Christine; his grandsons, Andrew, Mitchell and Tommy; his siblings, Tom Reopelle (Sandy), Jeanne Mishler, Judy Tummel and Patty Reopelle; and his mother-in-law Delores Sikes. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
