He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Walz and Evelyn Walz; and his sister Luann Billman. He is survived by: his siblings, Lillian Jacobson, Lucy Young (Gerald), Linda Peloquin (Bill), Leroy Walz (Kim), Lenora Laidlaw (Tom) and Lila Mae Neumann (Keith); and his pet Chocolate. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
