He is survived by: his wife Colleen Kay Rud; his children, Leah Hoeger (Bruce) of Menoken, ND, Denise Byrd of Cheyenne, WY and Corey Johnson of Oslo; and his siblings, Arlys Nestor of Summersville, WV, Betty Veralrud (Lawrence) of Oslo, Carol Carpenter of Apple Valley, MN and Margy Smith (Wayne) of Holt, MN.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
