He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Nelson and Irene Nelson (Bergman); his wife Judith Bredeson; and his sister Kathy Lunski. He is survived by: his children, Mark Nelson (Stacy), Kara Pitchford (Tim) and Paula Nelson (Craig); his grandchildren, Jacob Pitchford (Katie), Erik Pitchford (Kayla), Anna Pitchford, Dane Nelson, Kjersten Nelson, Ally Nelson and Kate Nelson; and his sisters, Sandy Roiger and Ilene Sherlock (Carl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
