We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2020, at the age of 71, Melanie Carpenter of Oslo, Minnesota, born in Vancouver, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Juanita (Hanson); her husband Robert "Bob" Carpenter; and her brothers, BJ and Christopher.

She is survived by: her children, Benjamin R. Carpenter (Jerilee) of Argusville, ND, Dennis A. Carpenter (Angie) and Rebecca L. Saelens (Joseph) of Chugiak, AK; her grandchildren, Lexi, Brock, Cole Carpenter, Halle, Drew, Kayla Carpenter, Becca Hyatt (Frankie), Nick and Sam Saelens; her great grandchild Damon Hyatt; and her siblings, Bruce, James, Jeff Bork (Raanne), Lisa Schafer and Lara Cunningham.
