She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Mendick and Agnes Mendick (Holter); her husband Oliver J. Selnes; and her siblings, Leone Awes (Ray), Robert, Ernest (Betty), Edward, Ronald, Rodney and David Mendick (Carolyn).
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Skattum (Jerel) of Adrian, ND, Wendy Hewitt (Robert) of Grand Forks, ND and Mary Chisholm (Ken) of Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren, Aaron Skattum (Brenda Woodford), Annie Skattum (Jamie Pullen), Evan Skattum (Lori), Tanner Hewitt, Andrea Gue (Charles) and Rachel Chisholm (Brett McDougall); and her great grandchildren, Tavin, Raiden Hewitt, Andi Jo, Lennon Skattum, Charles (Charlie), Veta Glorianne Gue, Phaedra and Linleigh McDougall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
