He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Olson and Clara Olson (Kolberg); his son Darren Olson; and his brothers, Lester, Glen and Norman Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Olson of Oslo; his son Chad Olson (Lynne) of Oslo; his grandchildren, Collin Olson of Oslo, Trevor Olson and Lexi Olson of Thompson; and his brother Harlan Olson (Joan) of Hilton Head, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
