He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Rickert; his former wife Dawn Perhus; his siblings, Virgene Rickert, DuWayne and Robert Rickert; and his sister-in-law Donna Rickert.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Rickert (Mathews) of Osakis; his children, Rodney (Molly Lund) of Alexandria, Ashley of Alexandria and Bradley of Osakis; his wife Tammy Wagner of Miltona; his stepdaughters, Caitlynn Wagner (Anthony Kohlhase) and Taylor Wagner (Tate Wiirre) of Miltona; his siblings, Verlyn Rickert (Mary) of Harrisburg, SD, Gary Rickert (Anita) of Pennock, Linda Heike of DeGraff, Randy Rickert of Maple Lake and Lisa Watnaas of Osakis; and his sister-in-law Carmen Rickert of Montevideo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
