He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Daas and Irene Daas (Roers); his son Tony; and his sister Mary Jo Garay. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Hockert); his children, Stephanie Anderson (Jim), Karen Mauriala (Phil) and Rick Daas (Katie); his grandchildren, Reed Mauriala, Faith Mauriala, Sydney Athey (Scott), Nathan Stracke, Reagan, Riann and Anthony Daas; his great grandchildren, Peter, Stella and Sean Athey; his sisters, Lucille Nadeau (Jim Wagner) and Norma Lanoue (Tim); and his friend Richard Daas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dick's honor to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Maryknoll Fathers, Catholic Charities, or Catholic Relief Services.
