It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Rooney (Osakis, Minnesota), who passed away on February 7, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen A. Rooney and Ruby H. Rooney (Ensign); and his siblings, Stephen 'Buzz', Thomas, Lawrence, William, Patrick Rooney, Genevieve Stocker, Jane Vonderhaar and Lorraine Rooney.

He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel Rooney (Pam) of Osakis and John Rooney (Debbie) of Columbia Heights; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Rooney of Cambridge, Barb Rooney of Cambridge and Sandy Rooney of St. Paul. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
