He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Terfehr and Margaret Terfehr of West Union; his sister Susan Engle; and his nephew Todd Engle. He is survived by: his children, Kristine Hawkins of Blaine and Doug Terfehr (Jan Aoun) of Frisco, Tex.; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine, Rebecca, Landon, Taylor and Ty; his former wife Jerry Terfehr of Lodi; and his siblings, Joyce Klimek of Osakis and Mark Terfehr of Dayton, Minn..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of John Terfehr to St. Alexius Parish or to a charity of personal choice.
