We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2023, at the age of 74, John Atkins Van Valkenburg (Osakis, Minnesota), born in Bertha, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Valkenburg and Doris Van Valkenburg; his sister Janet Hill (Bill); and his niece Kristen Hill. He is survived by: his sons, Dmitri "Deitz" Van Valkenburg and Kyle Van Valkenburg; and his siblings, Jean Yunker (Ray), Joyce Specht (Cliff) and Joe Van Valkenburg. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
