She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Terfehr and Rose Terfehr (Bitzan); her husband Edwin J. Sauer; her sons, John and Jerry "Chopper"; her siblings, Ray, Bert, Bill Terfehr, Clara Turchin, Theresia Miller, Magdalen Politeski, Alma Revering and Joan Slye; and her grandson Danny Virnig.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Virnig (Roger) of Little Falls, MN, Anne Nathe (Jim) of Osakis, Dave Sauer of Walcott, ND and Mike Sauer (Ginny) of Sauk Centre, MN; and her sister-in-law Elaine Terfehr. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
