She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Roering and Bernadine Roering (Beckermann); her husband Virgil Gettel; her daughters, Arlene Blanchard and Judy Gettel; and her grandson Jeremy Gettel.
She is survived by: her children, Lavern Gettel of Osakis, Larry Gettel (Tammy) of Osakis and Janet Rosch (Larry) of Long Prairie; her sisters, Shirley Kleinschmidt, Bernelda Ballman, Marilyn Ruprecht, Valeria Terhaar (Jerry) and Patricia Boyer; and her sister-in-law Irene Roering. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
