He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Thieschafer and Iris Thieschafer (Mootz); his brother Jeff Thieschafer; his grandson Jeffrey John Thieschafer; his nephews, Kenny Thieschafer and Isaac Thieschafer; and his father-in-law Emilio Ramirez-Kohl.
He is survived by: his wife Silvia of Osakis; his children, Carrie Marquette (Larry) of Rapid City, SD, Kellie Bitz (Loren) of Grey Eagle, Butch Thieschafer of Eagle Bend, Levi Thieschafer of Ashby, Christina Biesanz of Winona, Bill Biesanz (Rahdika) of Madison, AL and Andy Biesanz (Lindsay) of Mpls, MN; his grandchildren, Natasha, Brendon, Cassandra, Avri, Savana, Hudson, Annabelle, Dyllon, Chase, Abbigale, Michael, Cameron, Connor, Saara and Aanya; his siblings, Leroy Thieschafer of Little Falls, Karen Allen (Jim) of Swanville, Sue Ecker (Steve) of Long Prairie, Greg Thieschafer (Julie) of Bagley, Steve Thieschafer (Jeanne) of Swanville, Brenda Peterson (Bruce) of Swanville, Dan Thieschafer (Lori) of Swanville, Debbie Walburn of Swanville, Heidi (Bruce) and Missy Hirsch (Tim) of Little Falls; his mother-in-law Tina Guetg of San Juan; and his brother-in-law Eduardo Ramirez (Belinda).
