He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Gerber and Dorothy Gerber (Pansch); his sister Elaine; his brother-in-law Art Dove; his siblings, Virgil and Delores; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Amberg and Rodney Stoltenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Mary Eleanor Stoltenburg; his sons, Brent Gerber (Jenny) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Barry Gerber (Cathy) of Norfolk, NE; his grandchildren, Rachel Meyer (Paul), Sarah Gerber, Matthew Gerber (Evann Vrana), Ross Gerber and Jordan Gerber; his great grandchild Thea Meyer; his sisters-in-law, LeVon Gerber, Ruth Ann Gloege (Gordon) and Kathryn Stoltenburg; and his aunt Mabel Holman. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is encouraged.
