It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Teresa Carlson of Ortonville, Minnesota, born in Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Schell and Betty Schell (Chamley); and her sister-in-law Sharon "Tena" Strei. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Carlson, Sr. of Ortonville, MN; her sons, Gene Jr. Carlson (Becki) of Miltona, MN, Russell Carlson of Montevideo, MN and Jeffrey Carlson of Ortonville, MN; her grandchildren, Brandon, Lacey, Chelsie, Abby and Zetta; her great grandchild Cooper; her siblings, Mary Mack, Imelda Pogany of Sioux Falls, SD and Ronald Schell of St. Paul, MN; and her friends, Pat Carlson, Cheryl Carl, Diane and Bud Cornelisen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Mundwiler & Larson Funeral Home - Ortonville (401 2nd St SE, Ortonville, MN 56278). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (421 Madison Ave, Ortonville, MN 56278). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mound Cemetery (900 Stephens Ave, Ortonville, MN 56278).
