He was predeceased by: his father George Novak; and his brother Kerry Novak. He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Ginny" Novak (Schulte) of Ortonville, MN; his siblings, Bruce Novak of Appleton, MN and Jill Mason (Robert) of Eagle Lake, MN; his nieces, Kristin Bylsma (Kenneth) of Lombard, IL and Amanda Hunt of St. Paul, MN; his nephew Alexander Hunt of Mankato, MN; his great-niece Kaitlyn Bylsma of Lombard, IL; and his sister-in-law Georgia Novak of Plainfield, IN..
