With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leora Walsh of Ortonville, Minnesota, born in Avon, South Dakota, who passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester George and Pearl Anne Hawkey (Davis); her husband Lawrence Edward Walsh, Sr.; her sister Leona Shea; and her siblings-in-law, Conley Shea, Lawrence Jurrens, George Burma, Jack Rathbun, Louis Walsh, Vince Walsh, Jeanne Rathbun, Marcia Wash and Maureen Walsh.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Edward "Ed" Walsh, Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD, Lori Johnson (Rod) of Royalton, MN, Jim Walsh (Roda) of Maynard, MN, Leanne Walsh Becker (Brad) of Sauk Rapids, MN, Robert Walsh and Thomas Walsh (Raquel) of Ortonville, MN; and her sisters, Leola Jurrens and Alyce Carol Burma.
