He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nelson and Signe Erickson Nelson; his wife Suzanne; and his siblings, Vera, Ada, Robert and Eugene.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hoffman (Monte) of Duluth, MN, Rosanna Callahan (Mike) of Mt. Dora, FL, Dr. Rebecca Lossen (Greg) of Winona, MN, Robert Nelson (Trudy) of Branson, MO, Terry Nelson (Kim) of Kasson, MN, Scott Nelson of Ortonville, MN, Todd Nelson (Angel) of Ortonville, MN, Tim Nelson of Minneapolis, MN, Suzy Mueller (Scott) of Milbank, SD and Dr. Melissa Nelson of Ortonville, MN; his sisters, Ruth Osen of Bloomington, MN and Ginny Engen of Orlando, FL; and his sister-in-law Virginia Dawson of Ortonville, MN. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to accommodate gatherings of up to 250 people.
