She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Townsend and Cora Townsend; her husbands, Eldon Nelson and Marvin Howen; her siblings, David, Jim, Ole, Mary, Edith, Olive, Stella and Ruth; her grandchildren, Casey Sandberg and Troy McCallum; and her son-in-law Dr. Arnie Jostock.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Nelson (Carol), Bonnie Jostock, Connie Klappenbach (Bill), Coralie Sandberg (Roger) and Danny Nelson (Tina); her grandchildren, Nancy Ringsaker (Todd), Tawny Nystrom (Bret), Laura Hoag (Brady), Tami Fernholz (Scott), Stephanie Allosso (Dan), Becki Murphy (Dave), Chris Jostock (Jodi), Scott Sandberg (Jenni), Michael Sandberg, Jon Jostock (Missy), Chad Nelson (Marquita) and Curt Nelson (Vanessa); her sisters, Carolyn Pansch and Alice Hansen; and her brother-in-law Doran Nagel. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
