She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Redepenning and Roma Redepenning (Crusoe); her husband Donald William Athey; her siblings, Dennis Redepenning and Audrey Weir; and her great grandchild Brooklyn Schmieg.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery, Duane, Debra (Rick Stallman), Tammy (Joe Stallman), Jeffrey of Clinton, MN, Dewey (Maxine Athey), Roxanne (Terry Sigler) and Lisa (Curtis Peterson); and her siblings, Gary Redepenning (Betty), Gilbert Redepenning (Cheryl), Eileen Haas (Herman), Doug Redepenning (Annette) and David Redepenning (Pat). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
