Edith M. Redepenning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith M. Redepenning of Ortonville, Minnesota, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Watson and Lea Watson (Miller); her husband Dennis Redepenning; her brother Robert; her brothers-in-law, Franklin and Floyd; and her parents-in-law, August and Elsbeth Redepenning.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Redepenning (Janel) of Big Lake, MN, Denise Waletzko (Duane) of Sauk Centre, MN, David Redepenning (Jeanne) of Elbow Lake, MN and Shad Redepenning of Odessa, MN; her grandchildren, Mark Redepenning (Kristy) of Hawley, MN, Aaron Redepenning (Jenny) of Rogers, MN, Daniel Waletzko (Amanda) of Auburn, WA, Bethany Prososki (Joshua) of Hawley, MN, Austin Redepenning (Erin) of Maple Grove, MN and Cole Redepenning (Reedyn) of Gresham, OR; her great grandchildren, Elise, Adelina, Mya, Zekiel Redepenning, Isaac Redepenning, Brynlee, Lennon Waletzko, Zariah, Willow and Isabelle Prososki; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Nelson (Dan) and Charlotte Redepenning. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (204 Cedar Ave, Odessa, MN 56276). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (44985 680th Ave, Odessa, MN 56276).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Odessa or Rice Hospice, Willmar, MN.
