He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz Tiegs and Martha Tiegs (Woestehoff); his daughter Mary Martha; his wife Corinne Loretta Rethwill; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Kruschke, Robert Rethwill, Lester Rethwill, Milo Loose, Harry Kluntz, Ardella Tiegs, Carol Loose Kluntz, Virginia Rethwill and Marian Rethwill.
He is survived by: his children, Ross Donald (Sherry) of Morris, MN, Richard Tiegs (Carolyn Laxson) of Coralville, IA and Elizabeth Ketz (Patrick) of Ortonville, MN; his grandchildren, Lynn Behnke (Brian), Amanda Buermann (Scott), Alex Johnson, Courtney Ingalsbe (Dan), Drew Johnson (Shivani Sheth), Noah Tiegs (Grace Huber) and Jordan Tiegs (April Bannister); his great grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Mikaela Johnson, Liam Johnson, Katelyn Buermann and Evan Buermann; and his siblings, Marion Kruschke of Princeton, MN and Earl Tiegs of Belle Plaine, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
