He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Art" Hoernemann and Ruth Hoernemann (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Hermes of Ortonville, MN; his children, Rachel Miska (Nick) of Ortonville, MN and Jacob Hoernemann of Ortonville, MN; his siblings, Diane VanDierendonck (John) of Minneapolis, MN, Charlene Sovanski (John) of Kewanee, IL, Betty Hoernemann of Minneapolis, MN, Deb Hoernemann of Minneapolis, MN and Jim Hoernemann of Minneapolis, MN; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Hermes of Duluth, MN and Brian Hermes of Annandale, MN; his pets, Bo and Bella; and also, Tim and Karen Burdick.
The family requests memorials be made to Big Stone County Cancer Support Group, Ortonville Area Healthcare Foundation, and Carris Health-Rice Hospice.
