He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Vagt; and his siblings, Leon and Shirley Buske. He is survived by: his wife Ronna Garrett; his children, Pat Morris (John) of Harrisonville, MO and Russell Vagt (Caryn) of Rochester; his daughter-in-law Suzie Vagt of Austin, MN; and his grandchildren, Brandon Vagt (Alyssa), Bradley Vagt (Allison), Kendra Vagt (Brian Swenson), Zachary Vagt and Angela Klingfus (Dan). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
