He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Annetta Peterson (Hillestad); his wife Arlene Hass; and his children, Robert and Kay.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Peterson of Oronoco, Gary Peterson of Hollywood, FL, Steven Peterson (MaryAnn) of Rochester, Richard Peterson (Mary) of Lyle and Jason Peterson of Rochester. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
