It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Colin Yennie of Oronoco, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Colin Yennie to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Yennie (Stiller) and Edwin Yennie; his siblings, Elizabeth Gaarder (Paul) and Michael; and his stepfather Charles Frederick Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ellingson; his daughters, Louise Wacaser (Jeffrey) and Lea Anne Frey (Rich); his grandchildren, Madison, Walter Wacaser, Meredith and Andrew Frey; and his siblings, Kert Yennie (Cheri) and Evon Bushman (Pete). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (810 3rd Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gift of Life Transplant House or Paws and Claws.
