It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Beth Montplaisir (Onamia, Minnesota), born in Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Oscar Carlson and Agnes Carlson; her husband Bruce Montplaisir of Horace; her children, Derrick (Sarah), Jennifer Smart, Henry (Lisa) and Korey (Rose); her grandchildren, Casey Ferring (Jason), Mathew Smart, Lauren Smart, Kaja, Joe, Jack, Maxwell, James and Clara Montplaisir; her great grandchildren, Liam and Evert Ferring; and her sisters, Marcy Cole (Wally) of Fergus Falls and Millie Penuel (Tom) of Fargo.
