He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack H. Hales, Jr. and Gloria Hales (Kingston); his brother Dick; and his nephew Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Shawn Hales (Licari); his children, Cary Pershern (Kayla) and Nicoline Hill (Bill); and his grandsons, Will, Jack, Charlie and Nicholas.
