He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Montplaisir and Jennet Montplaisir (Larum); his wife Mary Beth of Evansville; and his siblings, David, Jerome, Richard, Katherine, Edward and Ellenor.
He is survived by: his children, Derrick (Sarah), Jennifer Smart, Henry and Korey (Rose); and his siblings, Ronnie (Linnea), Michael (Wendy), Karen Chase (Rick), Rosie Seaburg (Tom) and Linda See (Mike Schwab). He is also survived by his children, nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church - Onamia (200 Elm St, Onamia, MN 56359). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
