He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Everdina; and his sister Renee Rau. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" of Olivia; his children, Lisa Rau of Olivia, Christopher Rau of Minneapolis and Laura Rau of Frisco, TX; his grandchildren, Bodhi, Macy, River, Giuliana and Salvatore; and his sister Doreen Bengtson of Lewiston, MN.
