Sonia Grasmon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Grasmon of Olivia, Minnesota, who passed away on March 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sonia Grasmon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer Buerkle and Lydia Buerkle (Niebuhr); her father-in-law Kermit Grasmon; her siblings-in-law, Lenora Buerkle and Paul Daley; and her great-niece Hope Buerkle.

She is survived by: her stepson Mark; her husband Mark; her stepdaughter Erin Bradley (Jeff) of Overland Park, KS; her daughters, Karen Grasmon of Hutchinson and Sara Grasmon (Reid Vernon) of Minneapolis; her brothers, Darwin Buerkle (Sue) of Gibbon, JeRay Buerkle (Sue) of Ramsey and Wendell Buerkle (Myrna) of Gibbon; her mother-in-law Dorothy Grasmon; her sister-in-law Mary Daley; and her aunt Melva Peterson of Bloomington. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Masks and social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers, Sonia requested donations be made "to spread kindness and help people" through community organizations, projects or gifts directly to those who could use support.
