He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marcie Manderfeld and Gene Ruud; his son-in-law Chuck Nyman; and also Steve Bell. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ruud (Thiem) of Olivia; his daughter Elaine Nyman (Ruud); his grandchildren, Tom Nyman of Saginaw and Laurie Bell (Nyman) of Farmington; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Bell and Alex Bell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
