He was predeceased by: his brother Scott; his grandparents, Matt, Mary Serbus (Rejsek), Kermit and Helen Johnson (Zobel); his aunt Leona Ewer (Vern); his uncle Bud Welsh; and his cousin Athena Krueger (Serbus).
He is survived by: his parents, Wallace Serbus and Karen Serbus (Johnson) of Olivia; his children, Logan, Desiree and Dylan Serbus; his brother Dan Serbus of Redwood Falls; his aunts and uncles, Marv Johnson of Willmar, Sylvia Welsh of Bird Island, Mary Schroepfer (Jerry) of Olivia, Marge Kosak (Tony) of Olivia, Larry Serbus (Sue) of Olivia and Steve Serbus (Cheryl) of New Ulm; and the mother of his children Katy Suchy.
