MaryAnn Kopel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of MaryAnn Kopel of Olivia, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Haight and Clara Haight (Mork); her husband Al Kopel; and her siblings, Joyce Bradshaw, Jean Davidson, Ellen Jane Haight and Roscoe Haight.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Kopel, Gary Kopel (Carla) and Dean Kopel (Maria); her sisters, June Rockwood and Betsy Tepley Manbeck; her grandson Ben Kuhns; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zander and Rena Denardo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her most challenging and rewarding occupation was serving as Al's full time caregiver at home from 1978 when symptoms of Parkinson's first began until his death in 2002.
