He was predeceased by: his parents, John Folkerts and Susanna Folkerts (Minkel); his wife Lorraine Lindquist; his children, Dianne and Allen; and his brother Lester.
He is survived by: his sons, Myron (Chuck) and Chuck Folkerts (Deb); his son-in-law Bill Olson (Phyllis Moudry); his grandchildren, Jason Olson (Jenny), Kristin Schwier (Bob), Mamie Folkerts, John Folkerts and Matthew Folkerts (Kathleen); his siblings, Lyle Folkerts and Lucille Schmidt; his sister-in-law Alice Decker; and his close friends, Betty Schoeppler and Mozelle Kliefgen. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren; his two great-great- grandchildren.
