We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2022, Catherine Lingl of Olivia, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gass and Theresa Rose Gass (Brey); her husband Shorty; her sister Mary Ann Lingl Chladek; and her brothers-in-law, Florian Lingl and James Chladek.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Frank (Larry) of Redwood Falls, Jeffrey Raymond of Olivia and Susan Catherine Kringen (Dennis) of Willmar; her grandchildren, Aaron (Megan), Isabel, Amelia, Louis, Emmanuel Frank, Adam, Jacob Frank, Celestine (Jacob), Andray, Roslyn and Carrine Stang; her great grandchildren, Kristen (Tony), Jett, Kenedee, Liberty Salonek, Nathan (Andrea), Grant, Benjamin, Lincoln Lingl, Cody, Stacy, Samantha Lingl, Cassie (Jason), Grace, Lilli, Maxdon, Whitney Peters and Matthew Bredesen (Carrie); her siblings, Marlys Nelson (Dick) of Rochester and William Gass Jr. (Eileen) of Bird Island; and her close friend Gordy Krause of Olivia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic School in Bird Island, Renville County Hospice, and Choices Pregnancy Center in Redwood Falls.
