She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Proulx and Frances Proulx (Verbout); her husband Roma Chaput (Stu); her son Marc; her grandsons, Joshua and Aaron; her siblings, Paul, Noel, Joan Proulx, Priscilla Helgeson and Alma Ferris; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Proulx and Peggy Proulx.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Hanson (Dennis) of Crookston, MN, Cynthia Johnson of Crookston, MN, Richard Chaput (Peggy) of Crookston, MN, Michelle Kruse Thief (Guy), Lisa Hanson, Tim Chaput (Shelly), Craig Chaput (Carole), Edward Chaput (Cherie) and Dennis Johnson (Eileen) of Moorhead, MN; her brothers, Earl Proulx of Crookston, MN, Edward R. Proulx (Charlotte), Daniel Proulx of Houston, TX, George Proulx (Diana) and Red; her brother-in-law Jack Ferris of Silver Bay, MN; her daughter-in-law Laura Chaput of Oklee, MN; and her sister-in-law Lois Proulx of Crookston, MN.. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and volunteered in many different ways having taught Bone-Builders for several years.
