He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlando Chervestad and Helen Chervestad (Evenson); his daughter Adeline; his in-laws, Ralph and Helen Sorenson; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Hanson, Marlyn Johnson, Lavern Klenk, Elmer Hanson, Harvey Delage and Duane Pederson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sorenson of Oklee; his children, Aaron Chervestad (Jill) of Oklee, Abigail Stueness (Thomas) of Gary and Angela Lundeen (Shannon) of Oklee; his grandchildren, Owen, Alexa Chervestad, Mariah, Morgan, Madison Stueness, Nolan and Parker Lundeen; his siblings, Lana Nelson (Brad), Danny Nelson and Barb Anderson (Gary); and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Klenk, Rose Delage and Laura Pederson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
