It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Hamm of Oklee, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Zavoral and James Zavoral; and her siblings, Dale, James Zavoral and Marge Field.
She is survived by: her sons, John Zavoral of Morristown, MN, David Hamm of Brooks, MN, Jeffery Hamm (Brenda) of Roseau, MN and Ronald Hamm (Tracy) of Oklee, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher Hamm (Ashley), Kayla Knutson (Lee), Conway Hamm (Lexi Olson), Jorden Hamm (Alison), Jarvis Hamm (Sierra), Jenna Hamm, McKenzie Hamm, Malayna Hamm, Cory Zavoral (Carla) and Sara Zavoral (Jay); her great grandchildren, Autumn Kirk, Alaina Hamm, Brianna Hamm, Runa Hamm, Theo Knutson, Gemma Knutson, Bodin Knutson, Millie Hamm, Tayler Jensen, Keon Zavoral, Abbygael Zavoral, Ethan Zavoral and Jordan Zavoral; and her sisters, Phyllis DeFoe of Pembina, ND and Sharon Borgen of Maple Grove, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (301 Governor St, Oklee, MN 56742).
