She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Pomerenke and Elizabeth Pomerenke (Schmidt); her husband Vernon; her stepdaughters, Linda Crossfield and Sharon Behrens; her siblings, Loren, Eldon, Donald, Kenneth and LaVonne Pfeil; and her siblings-in-law, Henry Pfeil, Lawrence Malchow, Phyllis Pomerenke and Lorraine Malchow.

She is survived by: her stepson-in-law Charles Crossfield; her stepgranddaughters, Brenda Crossfield and Renee Beardsley (Jonathan); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ella, Owen and Brynn Beardsley; her siblings, Marles Lange (Robert) and Delbert Pomerenke (Janice); and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Pomerenke, Mary Ann Pomerenke and Sioux Falls. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews, cousins, and friends.
