He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Madsen and Marie Madsen (Sheridan); his siblings, Merle Madsen, Edwin Madsen Jr., Dale Madsen, Jerry Madsen, Duane Madsen (Joan), Melvin Madsen (Phyllis), Maxine Launderville (Lee) and Jean Madsen; and his sister-in-law Arlene Ivers (Henry).
He is survived by: his wife Marie Rasche of Okabena; his children, Chris Grover (Michael) of Oconomowoc, WI, Doug Madsen (Konnie) of Okabena, Linda Sczublewski (Rick) of Pierz, MN, Gary Madsen (Jody) of Okabena, Greg Madsen (Toni Baartman) of Worthington and Darian Madsen (Lana Rogers) of Otsego, MN; his brother Robert Madsen (Sandy); and his sisters-in-law, Margie Madsen, Bonnie Madsen and Eunice Madsen.
