He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Groat and Alice De Groat (Von Mosch); and his sisters, Nancy and Norma. He is survived by: his wife Irene Wedl; his sons, Justin De Groat and Jason De Groat; and his brothers, Paul and David. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
