He was predeceased by : his parents, Olaf Blegen and Anna Blegen (Engstrom); and his siblings, Ellen Wawers, Norma Willson, Hanna Harper, Fern Blegen, Charlotte Cummings, Agnes Bartz, John Blegen, Harold Blegen and Ralph Blegen.
He is survived by : his wife Diane of Ogilvie, MN.; his children, Allen Blegen (Elise) of Lindstrom, MN., Chris Blegen (Cheryl) of Ogilvie, MN., Neil Blegen (Corena) of Gordon, WI., Brian Blegen (Patricia) of North Branch, MN., Paula Myhre (Karl) of Hudson, WI. and Pam Johnson (Doug) of Arden Hills, MN.; his sister-in-law Beatrice Blegen; and also, Andrew Blegen, Ryan Blegen, Logan Burk, Michael Blegen, Alexander Blegen, Nathan Blegen, Evan Blegen and Dominick King. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
